Secretos de Sirenas

Hi, I'm Julie and I started Secretos de Sirenas (Mermaid Secrets in English) to share my love of nature with the world. I am an Ecologist by trade and an artist by heart. After finishing my Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolution in Canada I moved to a small beach town in Panama to live with my husband. My love for collecting shells, stones, and driftwood quickly turned into my inspiration for creating jewelry and other pieces of art. Many of these original pieces also display my passion for painting. Recently, I have started a series of paintings, again inspired by the beach and the tropics, to development my own stationary items.
